Scrapies ID
Numbers for Sheep and Goats
Scrapie
identification numbers are needed again this year. Owners should be getting those
numbers from the breeder when they get their sheep or goat. If you are unable to get your goat
tattooed or tagged with the scrapie ID, Ron Carman will be
tattooing/tagging at the July 26th poultry tag-in.
NO SLICK
CLIPPING/BODY SHAVING OF HOGS
Effective: February 15, 2003—The optional rule
OAC 901-19-33 (D) prohibits slick clipping or body shaving of market hogs,
except on ears and tails. The
word “underline” has been removed from the rule. “Slick clipping” or “body shaving”
means having hair that is less than 1/2 inch in length on the body for
market hogs.
