program are to help parents understand that children are affected

Participants report that
they are more aware that their children are affected by what happens or
what is said during the divorce process. They indicate that they will try
to do things differently as a result of participating in this program.
The Jefferson County
Common Pleas Court judges have reported that there is a decrease in
Post-decree filings for participants. This indicates that participants have
learned to work through problems and issues on their own rather than
needing to go to the court for resolution
