    From Bines to Steins: 2020 Ohio Hop Conference Feb. 21-22 @ the Courtyard by Marriott Springfield Downtown (100 S. Fountain Ave., Springfield, Ohio 45502) Join fellow hop growers and other industry leaders for two days of growing, unifying and educating the Ohio hops community. Session topics include soil sampling, tasting techniques, brewing processes, marketing strategies and more, including keynote speaker Erin Lizotte, a hops expert with Michigan State University Extension. This workshop will challenge families to actively plan for the future. Multiple generations are encouraged to attend.

    OSU Extension, Edison FFA & Jefferson Soil & Water Conservation District invite you to learn about grass and forb identification, spring pasture renovation, and forage testing to improve yields and forage quality in fields this year. During the workshop, participants will go through the process of identifying common grasses and legumes found in pastures and hay fields (with real plants!) and learn how identification is an important component of pasture renovation.
