Now that the spotted lanternfly has been identified in Jefferson County, the Ohio Department of Agriculture Division of Plant Health has drafted new rules in Chapter 901:5-56 to address the invasive insect. On March 10, 2021, the rules were submitted to stakeholders. The stakeholder comment period will remain open until March 24, 2021.
