Kasey has a wide range of experience that has led her to the SNAP-Ed Program Assistant position that is specializing in Nutrition Education/Choices and the Importance of Physical Active Lifestyles. She has invested and earned her BS In Education with a focus on Early Intervention from Franciscan University of Steubenville. Most recently she shared her time as a Head Start Teacher, after gaining experience from being a Building/Education Supervisor. She has several years as a YMCA School-Age coordinator in the Great Miami Valley of Ohio area, and as a Hamilton City Park & Recreation Site Summer Programs/Activities Coordinator. She has time well spent in the Early Childhood Education Vocational Experience as an honors student which then led her into being a nanny in the Cincinnati area, and later as an Educational Aide at the JCJVS. Just after graduating from the JCJVS/Edison South High School she obtained a degree in Law Enforcement with a focus in Juvenile Corrections from the local Community College. While attending she worked security on campus and at the Blockbuster Video store. With the few things mentioned here and all her additional life experience’s she is the most proud of her marriage of 22.5 years and their three children, they are involved in the community and in school activities, seasonal sports and excel in academics. Kasey says that being a Mom has been the most intense and rewarding commitment in life, she would be more than happy to share what an adventure it has been.
